ПОЕЗДКА В АЛБАНИЮ
С 1 – по 3 октября текущего года, в Албании проходил Форум Международной Ассоциации Тюремного Служения (МАТС). В нём приняли участие представители 20 стран. Форум проходил неподалеку от столицы Албании –Тиране, в курортном городке на берегу Адриатики, в местечке Дуррес (Durresi) Главным критерием форума был стих из Библии:
«Я был наг, и вы одели Меня; был голоден вы накормили, был в узах (читай отбывал наказание в местах лишения свободы), и вы пришли ко Мне». Мтф. 25:36

London, 1 October 1998 (RFE/RL) -- International health authorities are concerned about a new and deadly strain of tuberculosis in overcrowded prisons in Russia, fearing it may spread to epidemic levels in the outside general population.
The danger comes from a mutant form of tuberculosis called multi-drug resistant TB - MDR-TB - which sometimes results when an ordinary TB sufferer receives sub-standard treatment. Usually, it develops when medical treatment is interrupted or reduced, something increasingly common because of drug shortages. ...

Nine Kazakhstan officials are visiting Kansas in order to under stand the American structure of the department of corrections and glean innovations for the 96 prisons and 85,000 inmates in that country. The trip, which was sponsored by Senim, a Southern Baptist-funded humanitarian organization, brought the officials to state prisons, juvenile detention centers, county jails , and correc tional facilities in the state. The Kazakhstan officials are im pressed with the mingling of prisoners and staff, the modem tech nology, the fact that there is one state employee for every seven inmates, and how prisoners, juvenile detention centers, county jails , and correc tional facilities in the state..

Эта тема для Комитета ООН по правам ребенка поднята в июле 2015 года.
Это был День общей дискуссии (DGD-Day of General Discussion), состоявшийся в Женеве. Дети заключенных являются невидимыми жертвами преступлений и пенитенциарной системы. Этой проблемой занимается PFI Qazaqstan, в фокусе внимания которого находится ОБФ «ШЫРАК» - семейный детский дом «Надежда».
